Some Exciting News!
Dear Changemakers,
It’s been a reallllly long time since I wrote a newsletter to all of you, but I promise I have a good excuse. I’ve been working on my first book! It’s been quite an adventure, but I’m overjoyed (and still a bit in shock) to share the exciting news with you that Becoming a Changemaker just went live for pre-order!
This book coming to life is the culmination of the dream I’ve had for over a decade.
🚀 I’m driven by the belief that anyone—regardless of title, personality, race, gender, age, or class—can be a changemaker. If you’ve ever felt a desire to play a role in making change happen, but felt stuck getting started or had someone tell you to wait your turn, this book is for you.
👀 Becoming a Changemaker is a radically inclusive playbook for leading positive change. It takes the lessons, insights, stories and even exercises of my class at UC Berkeley and for the very first time makes them accessible to everyone.
🙏 While my name is on the cover, this book reflects the work, stories, and impact of so many. It would not have been possible without the contributions of lots of fellow changemakers, and I look forward to sharing lots of stories of gratitude in the weeks to come.
🌍 I’m deeply moved that some of the world’s most impactful
changemakers, including Muhammad Yunus, Aaron Levie, Liz Wiseman, Sara El-Amine and Ben Rattray have read and endorsed the book and its message.
NYTimes best-selling author Dan Heath says that this book, “will be a catalyst for a new generation of leaders committed to changing the world for the better.”
I really hope that he’s right, and I hope that you will join us..
It would mean the world to me if you would consider:

All my best,
Alex
